Basic Education for a Better Future

    Abstract
“Basic education for a better future” is a report by ImpactoCAF that aims to analyze the impact of the actions of the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) on coverage and learning in basic education in the region, highlighting interventions that have focused on educational infrastructure, teacher training, and digital transformation in institutions. This is in response to persistent deficiencies in the accumulation of skills among students despite the progress made over the last few decades, a trend that is more acute among the most vulnerable populations.
