Basic Education for a Better Future
Resumen
“Basic education for a better future” is a report by ImpactoCAF that aims to analyze the impact of the actions taken by CAF - Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean to expand coverage and improve learning in basic education in the region. These actions respond to persistent deficiencies in the accumulation of skills among students despite the progress made over the last few decades, a trend that is more acute among the most vulnerable populations. CAF's interventions have focused on educational infrastructure, teacher training, strengthening educational management, providing technology and pedagogical guidance, second language learning, strengthening social-emotional skills, and preventing school dropouts.
