Toward a resilient, sustainable, and regenerative agriculture sector
Resumen
“Towards a resilient, sustainable, and regenerative agricultural sector” is a report by ImpactoCAF that aims to describe the support provided by the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) to promote a more productive, sustainable, and resilient agricultural sector in the region. The report points out that, despite the enormous productive potential of agricultural activities in the region, this is also one of the main sources of environmental degradation, affecting crucial ecosystem services such as water supply and biodiversity conservation. In response, the document highlights how CAF has supported the sector through credit operations, equity investments, and technical cooperation aimed at technology and knowledge transfer, enabling infrastructure, and financing for the adoption of sustainable practices.
