Early Childhood Care for Greater Well-being
Resumo
The publication highlights the importance of ensuring proper care in early childhood to promote well-being and social equity in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). It emphasizes that many children in the region face health, nutrition, and stimulation deficiencies, which can impact their physical and cognitive development, limiting their future potential. CAF’s intervention aims to support public policies that foster children’s comprehensive development through financing and technical cooperation. CAF’s actions have already benefited 3.8 million children, promoting nutrition, hygiene, and education practices, with a positive impact on several key areas of child development.
