Governance for Development in Latin America and the Caribbean
Resumo
A year ago, CAF and UNDP decided to join forces around a shared agenda on the interdependence between governance and development in Latin America and the Caribbean. They were united by the common conviction that establishing a comprehensive agenda for sustainable development in the region could not overlook the necessary institutional transformations needed to support the full set of Sustainable Development Goals. The results of this effort are compiled in this publication. The recommendations outlined here mark the beginning of a conversation that will shape a work agenda in favor of effective and inclusive governance as the main enabler of sustainable development, as stipulated by SDG 16 on “Peace, justice, and strong institutions.”
