Water Security Strategy 2023 - 2026
Resumo
CAF has clearly expressed its commitment to become the bank supporting the economic reactivation of the region as
well as LAC’s green bank. To achieve this, it has set the goal that by the end of 2026, at least 40 percent of its operation
approvals will be green, which represents a significant effort for the institution, as well as the voluntary commitment, stated at the United Nations Water Conference in March 2023, to approve operations supporting Water Security in the region for up to USD 4 billion in 2023–2026, which implies an increase of more than 60 percent in the historical approvals in the water sector in the last ten years.
