Strengthening CAF's Partnership with the Caribbean
Resumen
This brochure highlights CAF’s journey in fostering strong and enduring partnerships with the Caribbean, reflecting its commitment to regional integration and sustainable development. From the early engagement with Trinidad and Tobago in 1994 to the recent incorporation of Bahamas, Dominica, and Grenada as Series C shareholders in 2024, CAF has progressively expanded its presence and impact in the region. With the establishment of the Port of Spain office in 2013 and the launch of the Caribbean Regional Management Office in 2022, CAF continues to deepen its collaboration with Caribbean nations through financial support, technical assistance, and knowledge exchange. Key milestones include the historic USD 7 billion recapitalization supported by Caribbean shareholders, and the enthusiastic response from eight additional CARICOM Member States expressing interest in joining CAF. By enhancing access to its resources and services, CAF aims to drive sustainable and inclusive growth in the Caribbean, improving quality of life and strengthening regional ties.
